Ident for Kuppel 16, a sci-fi drama series from NRK (Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation). Set in a future divided by climate collapse, the privileged live in sealed domes while the rest struggle to survive outside.
Created by Thomas Seeberg Torjussen — known for Zombielars and Norwegian Cozy — whose work has received international acclaim, including an International Emmy nomination and awards from Rose d’Or, Prix Jeunesse, and Kidscreen.
Torjussen wanted a visual language that differentiated from typical metaphors of the science fiction genre. The ident explores themes of nature, decomposition, rebirth, and growth using hand-drawn typography and an organic, evolving colour palette.
